Lögde river in Nordmaling is a typical example of a norrlänsk Forest River. That means it has all their precipitation in the area woodlands and are therefore concerned not by the snowmelt from mountains. The water flow is characterized by a single high peak flow in the spring, which can extend well into the early summer. Summer water flow is usually low unless it rains copiously much.
It is a very good parent waters and there is a footpath by the river with lots of wind protection and more overnight cabins.

Fishing is extensive and lögde River is known as one of Norrland prime salmon fishing. Fishing usually get started at the beginning of May the river had time to clear up somewhat after the spring flood turbidity. The period up to May-June, often a fine trout fishing especially on the lower stretches of the river. The salmon begin to rise in end of May with a peak in June-July. Lögde River has a unique seatrout slåttansbörting called. It rises in great steps most often from the latter part of July. Lögde River has a fine strain of salmon and sea trout and the local börtingen which is a proprietary strain of brown trout. There are also plenty of grayling.
