Mörrums river has its source from the highlands of Småland. It flows through the lake Åsnen west of Tingsryd and further down towards Fridafors, Svängsta and Mörrum before it culminates, at the ruins of the ancient episcopal city Elleholm in Pukaviksbukten. Located west of Karlshamn in Blekinge. Mörrums river is famous among anglers the world over for its very large adult salmon and sea trout. Foreign fishermen account for about 50 percent of the number of fishing days. Angling in the scenic river, was formerly very well, but in recent years, salmon have been worse. We hope that salmon fishing will soon be on top again, maybe this year.

Fishing in Mörrums river, is primarily about kronolax fishing. Which is conducted on the river's lower part, from the sea and about 8km up. Fishing is only exerted from shore, throws bridge or by wading. Some pools are only open for fly fishermen, while others are only for spin fishing. The pools are reserved for fly fishing may not be spinning, even though no fly fishermen staying there corresponding ratio for the pool reserved only for spin fishing.
The season usually starts with a great sea trout fishing, which ebbed away in early May. In May begins the big shiny salmon come up the river and from the middle of the month to early June is salmon fishing at its best. In July-August than usually large quantities of small salmon. Pool 32 Rosendala only fly-fishing, is perhaps the most beautiful and exciting of all the pools.
