Stordalselva in Sunnmøre have their headwaters from mountain areas between Nordalsfjord and Romdalsfjord including Höyfjälls area with peaks of over 1500m above sea level. It has a good inflow of water from the mountains and the sea becomes often too low. The river empties into the Storfjorden in Stordal.

Fishing
